New York

What a way to first arrive...taking the subway and to the temple none-the-less. Can't say I wasn't scared when guys were being arrested, it was stuffy and my pass didn't work, so i was stuck on the other side for a bit. The temple was hidden on a city block corner, it was a great way to start our trip. The workers were so excited to see people they wanted us to stay all day. Then we took a tour bus of the city; lots of amazing architecture and we even got sprayed by the fire hydrants in Harlem.

The best store in New York was the M&M store, it's so colorful and fun. Although my reading on the M&M machine was rude, everyone elses said how nice, sharing, and outgoing they were and well there is mine...

Mary Poppins stayed to the story line and was good. But wow the guy in front of Collete and I wouldn't stop clapping as loud as he could (he truly was enjoying the show)so Collete started clapping really loud in his ear. We laughed.

We had to get pictures by our favorite stars...

The Night tour bus was actually scary because we had to cross the Brooklyn Bridge which has no side rails in a double decker bus; Lacey and i were clinging to each other for dear life!

We shopped till we dropped downtown and in SoHo. Of course we got some fabulous purses and lots of other loot. Then to make the day even better we saw Wicked. What a fabulous play that had us laughing throughout the show. We also tried our first New York Canoloi...yum!

The rain came a pouring on our last day! We were taking our tour bus to Central Park when it began a down-pour, we just sat and screamed. Thankfully a man on the bus found ponchos and gave us each one. We also had our first New York hotdog in the park, you can't go to New York without eating a hot dog!

Thanks Lacey and Collete for inviting us! We had a blast on our girls trip!
