Good bye "Bessy"

We recently put John's car on KSL classifieds. About a week and a half went by and no calls. A new car wash opened down the street and all washes were free, so I suggested John stop by on his way home from school. Well as he is sitting in his car and it is being washed the side cleaners were really strong and they busted his side mirror off. John just sat there going oh crap I can't do anything as it is flinging around. Fabulous! So John spoke with the manager and he rudely told him that they are not responsible for anything since it was a free car wash. About an hour later we get our first call on the car. Of Course!! John had to explain what just happened at the car wash, but the guy still wanted to come see his car. When he arrived John continued to tell him all the problems with the car; a blinker noise that continues to click even when it is not turned on, an oil leak, two new tires were needed, and the shifter button recently popped off, and now adding to the list a broken side mirror. To our amazement he still wanted the car. We sold it for cheaper than we originally wanted, but in spite of the situation we were glad anyone wanted it! John was still sad to see Bessy go. :( We recently bought a new car which has been really fun; this has helped John get over his true love.
