Update

For John and my Dad's birthdays we ordered Olive Garden for dinner; which is a favorite of theirs and then headed off to the Christmas Concert with David Archuleta. We were a little late getting out the door so we drove as fast as we could. Parking took forever so we had to run many blocks to get to the conference center. As we round the corner we see thousands of people standing in long lines to get in and it is literally time to be in the doors and seated. So after much time of decision making we finally picked a line and started waiting. We figured if you were in line you were good to go, this was not the case. We were the last ones in the doors in our line, they were yelling at the people behind us to back up so they could shut the doors. People were yelling...no! We started freaking out; we couldn't believe it. So we started rushing around the building to catch an open door, they had begun shutting the inner doors now and we were desperately running from door to door. We ran in a side door with John being the last and out of the corner of his eye he saw security people yelling at him. I looked at John and my parents and said holy crap that felt like the titanic and we weren't going to make it!!! So we make our way down to the very front of the conference center and our seats are long gone. We all ended up sitting by ourselves. It was a beautiful concert and David sang amazingly! John even commented on how much he liked it...you know it had to be good then especially sitting by yourself!
