Oh my... late Christmas

Our little Pockies is so adorable!
John got a huge box of food to take back to school from mom and dad....dang he was so excited!
Ty brought on the water-works by giving John and I a hotel stay for our birthdays and a nice note saying how much he loves us.
For the first year we decorated our downstairs tree with ribbons and piks ect. It looked so beautiful. We always put our ornaments on the tree from each year. Everyone laughs when Connor puts this picture on the tree, he made it at school one year....we can't get enough of that face. It makes us all laugh and it goes front and center!
This year seemed to be less of the hustle and bustle. It helped that we are school poor so we didn't buy each other presents. I made calendars for my mom, dad, john, and karen. They take so much time but I love to see their faces begin to cry as they open them. John was shocked he got one this year, he usually makes fun of me and calls me the calendar girl, but now he can't wait to turn it to the next month and plaster the pictures all over his room. This year we went to Dave and Trish's for the Christmas party. We did so many fun games it was a great night, even eating donuts hanging from the ceiling. Then Christmas Eve we had our traditional gag presents. This year John got a turtle neck like uncle eddie on christmas vacation...he loves that guy everytime we watch it. And i got a braclet that said sugar mamma...couldn't be more fitting. We love the Farrs and look forward to many more years of memories and fun with them. Christmas day was nice to spend at church followed by presents with my family, breakfast with Johns family, lunch with my grandma, and dinner and presents with Johns family. It is so fun to watch the little ones get so excited when opening their gifts.
May next year be filled with HOPE, LOVE and HAPPINESS! Heavenly Father has blessed us in so many ways this year we coudln't be grateful enough! This journey has been filled with it's highs and lows. It's hard to be apart from your best friend thank goodness for family and friends.
